Did you know that most period products are made of 90% plastic that can take thousands of years to decompose? And get this: despite changes in bleaching practices to purify the wood pulp - one of the raw materials used to make menstrual products - chlorine and dioxin - one of the most toxic substances known to humankind - can still be found in some menstrual towels and tampons.

Time to start a period revolution with The Female Company! The Female Company's tampons not only make our menstruation greener but also provides healthier products. Made in Germany and Austria, The Female Company tampons are environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic and organic - tested according to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

How to Use

First things first: relax!

Especially with the first attempts to insert a tampon, it is quite normal that it is still a little uncomfortable.

After washing your hands thoroughly, make yourself "comfortable" and get into a relaxing position. For most, it works while sitting on the toilet or, for example, standing with one leg on the edge of the bathtub.

Your abdomen is relaxed in these positions, and it is very important that you do not cramp. If you are unsure, take a few deep breaths and exhale to relax even more. Then use your index finger to insert the tampon into the vagina as far as possible. If you feel resistance, try changing direction a little. And don't worry, your tampon will never get lost with the withdrawal cord!

If your tampon is properly placed, you can no longer feel it.

Drop it like it's hot
