Be sure to wash your hands with water and soap before and after using the clay pad and use a clean organic cotton cover. When in heat mode, check to be sure the desired temperature is reached and distribute the contents of the pad evenly. If used before breastfeeding, use for only 2 minutes before nursing the baby and do not use on nipple area. For injuries, do not use for more than 20 minutes at a time. When chilled, use for 10 minutes every 2 hours as desired. If used for postpartum perineal pain, use sterile gauze to ensure no bacteria spread. For hemorrhoids, us sterile gauze if there are open wounds. Apply for only 10 minutes if used one breast after breastfeeding and do not touch nipple area.
